Cyber Insurance Claims Management System
A custom-built Laravel and Livewire management system designed for specialist claims adjusters to monitor complex cyber incidents and track live financial reserves.
Project Brief
The team needed a fast, high-density administrative system designed specifically for cyber claims adjusters to process high-stakes claims without cumbersome page reloads.
Working as a two-person design and development team, Conobe took the project from initial layout concepts to a production-ready Laravel & Livewire platform built for quick data entry and live reserve management.
The screenshots and metrics displayed in this case study utilize synthetic, placeholder data. All company names, cover holder identities, transaction amounts, and claim details are entirely fictitious. Any similarity to actual business entities, live policies, or real-world events is strictly coincidental.
The Challenge
Cyber insurance claims require managing distinct relationships between policy brokers (Cover Holders) and affected commercial clients (The Insured). Structuring this clearly without cluttering the screen was a core UI design challenge.
Adjusters need instant access to volatile financial numbers-including Incurred Losses, Paid Amounts, and Remaining Reserves against Policy Limits-alongside critical incident details like ransomware demands and regulatory ICO countdown timers.
To deliver a single-page app feel while keeping backend logic simple, we paired Laravel Livewire with Alpine.js. This handled reactive modal states, instant table search, and data filters, all styled with a custom dark-mode palette.

Architecture
Built as a full-stack Laravel application leveraging Livewire for server-driven reactive UI and Alpine.js for interactive modal flows. Tailwind CSS powers a strict semantic color hierarchy focused on readability during long work sessions.
The backend logic separates complex financial calculations into dedicated domain actions, ensuring Livewire component states stay light and fast without redundant query overhead.
