Common Questions About My Web & App Development Services

Choosing Conobe means you're not just another project for a faceless agency.

You get one-on-one attention and consistent, direct communication with me, Ben. This personal approach ensures your vision is truly understood and reflected in a website or app that feels distinctly yours.

I bring a human touch to every detail, ensuring your digital presence is not only effective but also authentically represents your brand.

The cost of a new website/app varies significantly as it's highly dependent on the project's complexity, features, and specific requirements.

I believe in providing transparent and customized quotes rather than one-size-fits-all pricing. Factors influencing the cost include the number of pages, integration with third-party systems, custom functionalities, design intricacy, and ongoing maintenance needs.

To give you an accurate estimate, I'll first conduct a thorough discovery phase to understand your vision, goals, and technical specifications, allowing me to propose a solution that aligns with both your aspirations and budget.

Ensuring your website/app meets your specific business goals is at the core of my development process. I begin with an in-depth discovery phase where I thoroughly understand your objectives, target audience, competitive landscape, and key performance indicators.

This initial insight guides every subsequent stage, from strategic planning and user experience design to content creation and technical development. I integrate measurable metrics and user testing throughout the process, allowing me to continuously refine the project and confirm that the final product directly contributes to your desired business outcomes, whether it's lead generation, sales, brand awareness, or operational efficiency.

The timeline for building a website/app is unique to each project, largely determined by its scope, complexity, and the promptness of client feedback.

Simple brochure websites might be completed in a few weeks, while complex e-commerce platforms or custom apps with extensive features could take several months.

I establish a clear project timeline upfront during my discovery phase, outlining key milestones and delivery dates. My agile approach allows for efficient progress, and I maintain open communication to keep you informed of my progress and any factors that might influence the schedule.

My 4-step website build process begins with an Initial Brief where I deeply understand your unique project needs. From this, I craft a comprehensive plan and provide a free, no-obligation quote. Once the quote is approved and the deposit is processed, I move into the Build phase, commencing development by the agreed deadline.

Throughout the build, my Iteration process keeps you involved; you'll access a testing domain to provide feedback at various stages. Behind the scenes, my code undergoes continuous automated, manual, and rigorous quality checks. Finally, upon your complete satisfaction, I handle the seamless Launch, deploying the codebase to your web hosting environment and transferring full control to you.

Yes, I absolutely offer comprehensive ongoing support and maintenance packages designed to keep your website/app running smoothly, securely, and efficiently after launch.

My support services can include regular software updates, security monitoring, performance optimization, content updates, and technical troubleshooting.

I understand that a website is a dynamic asset, and my post-launch support ensures it remains up-to-date, protected from vulnerabilities, and continues to perform optimally, allowing you to focus on your core business while I handle the technical upkeep.

Absolutely. I specialize in redesigning and updating existing websites and apps that are outdated, no longer meeting current business needs, or performing optimally.

My process for a remake typically involves a thorough audit of your current platform to identify its strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement in terms of design, functionality, user experience, and underlying technology.

I then work with you to develop a modern, user-friendly, and goal-oriented solution that leverages the latest web technologies, enhances performance, improves security, and better reflects your brand and business objectives.

Each project will have its own brief, including the outline of the payment schedule.

A general rule of thumb is a 3-stage payment plan - a third upfront, a third when the code is delivered for testing and feedback and the final third when the project is signed off and launched. I can also offer a monthly retainer for ongoing work, which is typically paid at the start of each month.
